Spotted this at the Kawagoe festival held for two days on the 3rd Saturday and Sunday of October at Kawagoe city in Saitama prefecture, which the city is known locally as "Little Edo" (小江戸) after the old name for Tokyo, "Edo".
At least it's not the on version.
For the uninitiated, HARD OFF is a recycling shop that buys 'hardwares' like cameras, musical instruments, laptops and dvd players from people and sell away to consumers at low price. Somewhat like garang guni. But only useable ones la.
Some may be more familiar with it's cousin shop, BOOK OFF. Yeah, 2nd hand books!!! Very good place to find gems. Some other 〜off shops include MODE OFF, Garage OFF, Hobby OFF and OFF HOUSE. Don't ask me why the last one is different. Will they spin out a fxxx OFF shop in the future? (used.. costumes and toys???) :x
